TEAM CONCLUDES POSITIVE PRE-SEASON TESTING IN VALENCIA

Envision Racing racked up 424 laps across three days of running at Formula E pre-season testing on the 3.138km Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

Sylvain Filippi, Envision Racing’s Managing Director, said: “We’ve achieved what we needed to here in Valencia and we now need to take that data away and continue working hard over the next month ahead of the start of the season. I’m impressed with what my team have achieved in just a few days and am looking forward to seeing how that will translate on to the race track come January. This year has been difficult with the restriction for everyone in motorsport but Formula E have once again done an incredible job of organising this event and we’ve even been lucky enough to welcome our new partners IQONIQ into the garage.”

“I think the test has been very positive for us as a team – we’ve been able to test everything that we planned to as a team and we come away from it happy. It’s difficult to see out-right performance on a track like this, due to it not being representative of a normal Formula E circuit, but I believe that Audi Sport have provided us with another competitive package and I’m looking forward to the first race of the season in January.”

“It’s been a really important few days for me here in Valencia – both on-and-off track. We’ve completed a significant number of laps and I’ve been able to come up to speed fairly quickly so I’m really happy about that. I also feel like I’ve integrated well into the Formula E paddock – it’s been nice to get to know the team better and work with so many new people. We now have the opportunity to take the data from this test and analyse it ahead of the first round of the season in Santiago, so I’m looking forward to learning more over the Christmas period.”
