The aim of our ‘Race Against Climate Change’ (RACC) initiative is to inspire, to connect and to educate our global community on climate action and green technology.

Initiatives driving action
We use the platform sport gives us to raise awareness of important sustainability challenges – like e-waste, for example. Our team built a driveable, replica Formula E car – called ‘Recover E’ – made entirely out of discarded e-waste, collecting unused electronics from schools across the country. The car, which featured on BBC, ITV and other international media, subsequently went on display at COP and the World Economic Forum, spreading awareness of this environmental crisis.

Conversations inspiring change
We host live events in major cities across the world, bringing together major voices from business, government and global NGOs to discuss major issues in sustainability. To date, the team has hosted over 20 events in London, New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris and Shanghai. Contributors to past events include Dr. Michael Mann, Dr. Jane Goodall, Sir Richard Branson, Professor Ed Hawkins, Eliud Kipchoge, Aidan Gallagher, David Blood and many more.

When we partner with organisations, we partner with purpose. From Envision’s green technology, Teijin’s circular materials for our car and driver suits, to Superdry’s stylish, sustainable team kit, and Sand Technologies’ purpose-driven AI tools – our partners share our mission to put sustainability first. We also partner with leading universities with the purpose of educating the next generation of green tech talent, and leading climate scientists to share their groundbreaking research on a global stage.
