DRAW YOUR OWN RACING DRIVER WITH #DRAWWITHROB COMPETITION

Envision Racing has joined forces with popular children’s illustrator Rob Biddulph (#DrawWithRob), National Geographic Kids and the UN’s COP26 Together For Our Planet campaign to launch a unique competition and the chance to win a once in a lifetime prize.

Open to anyone under the age of 16, the contest challenges youngsters to create an environmentally inspired race-suit, with the winning design to be worn by the team’s drivers – Robin Frijns and Nick Cassidy – at an actual race later in the season.

It follows on from the team’s previous competition last summer to design a nature-led car livery and aims to highlight to a younger audience the urgent need to tackle climate change.

Part of the team’s ‘Race Against Climate Change’ programme, the competition is looking to find the most creative eco-design and will run until February 25 – the eve of the opening rounds of the new Formula E season. The team have linked up with award-winning illustrator #DrawWithRob to create a tutorial video on how to draw a race-suit before creating a bespoke design.

Judging the entries will be Peter Johnson, Managing Director of National Geographic Kids, and Envision Racing’s Managing Director Sylvain Filippi. As well as having their design made and worn by the drivers, the winner will also receive a replica suit to keep for themselves – made by the team’s Official Supplier OMP.
