Leading Formula E Team Envision Racing and Uncommon Limited have today confirmed a partnership to deliver a new range of fan and supporter merchandise.
Uncommon, headquartered in the UK, is respected for delivering world-class sustainable product solutions and boasts an impressive roster of major rightsholders and teams as clients, including Sky Tempesta Racing, Excel Esports and Motorsport UK.
The partnership will see Uncommon develop an exciting array of fan merchandise and memorabilia across a variety of categories for Envision Racing, including replica teamwear, clothing, accessories and gifting.
As one of the founding teams of the FIA Formula E World Championship, Envision Racing — owned by world-leading greentech company Envision Group — boasts an impressive record both on and off the track. Aside from securing 11 wins and 33 podiums in their 84 races, Envision Racing is also a carbon neutral Formula E team (PAS 2060) and one of a handful to achieve the FIA’s Three Star Sustainability Accreditation. It is the only sports team to partner with the UK government to support their ‘Together for our Planet’ initiative and the UN’s COP26 global summit.
The licensing partnership is designed to build upon the creative and powerful fan-focussed marketing initiatives that the Team have delivered over the last 12 months including the award-winning Marbula-E and its collaborations with the NFL and UFC.
Commenting on the announcement, James Mercer, Commercial Director at Envision Racing, said: “Paul and the team at Uncommon have an exceptional track record in delivering products and merchandise for fans and partners which are sustainable, affordable, and of excellent quality. We are excited to be able to deliver more of what our fans are asking for.”
Paul Preuveneers, CEO and Founder at Uncommon, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the team at Envision Racing. Their Race Against Climate Change programme shows true dedication to sustainability – something we’re extremely proud to support. Our focus is thinking creatively to find innovative, sustainable solutions for teamwear and fan merchandise, so this partnership is very much built on shared values.”
