O’Sullivan completes Rookie Session in Jeddah

Zak O’Sullivan completed his first taste of Formula E on Thursday, as he participated in the Rookie Session in Saudi Arabia.

Ahead of the Jeddah E-Prix, a new track for the championship, O’Sullivan completed 21 laps of the circuit during the 40-minute session – providing invaluable data for the team ahead of Rounds 3 & 4 of Season 11.

That tally was more than any other rookie involved in the session.

The 20-year-old’s fastest lap time of 1:19.067 was good enough for P6 on the timing charts, although he only ran a limited number of 350kWh laps.

O’Sullivan will stay with the team to observe Friday’s sessions, including the night-time race – which will feature Pit Boost for the first time in championship history.

The ex-Formula 2 driver will then continue with new simulator role with the team.
