Envision Virgin Racing to host one of its now renowned climate change-focused Innovations Summits ahead of the New York City E-Prix.
Held at New Lab in Brooklyn, in close proximity to the Redhook circuit, the thought leadership event will comprise of two panels. The first panel will bring together a host of prominent business leaders with the second boasting a variety of sustainability experts, with both discussing the role of the business sector in accelerating climate action.
To be hosted by broadcast journalist Andrew Wilson, the team’s Innovation Summit is one of a series held by Envision Virgin Racing in conjunction with its Race Against Climate Change initiative, a programme launched by Sir Richard Branson in 2017 which aims to accelerate the energy transition and help the world achieve the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Indeed, the team – together with its partners – has earned a reputation as the leading Formula E team for sustainability, using its independent status to address the wider energy transition topic beyond just the e-mobility element.
