Silverstone, UK, 01 July 2026: Envision Racing and Jaguar today confirmed the continuation of their successful customer supply relationship into the GEN4 era of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, beginning in Season 13 (2026/27). Envision Racing will continue to compete with a Jaguar‑powered GEN4 car as Formula E enters its next all‑electric technological chapter.
The partnership, which will be set to enter its fifth year, has become one of the most successful in Formula E. Since Season 9, Envision Racing and Jaguar TCS Racing have achieved 58 podiums, 23 wins and 13 pole positions together. Central to this success is the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7, the car with the most wins of the GEN3 Evo era with 11 wins across 2024/25 and 2025/26. This strength is reflected in the current Manufacturers’ World Championship, where Jaguar sits second with 283 points.
The GEN4 era will introduce Formula E’s fastest and most advanced race car to date, featuring 600kW peak power, permanent all‑wheel drive, 700kW regenerative braking, a 55kWh battery, and new aerodynamic modes that deliver greater efficiency, grip and agility.
The car is also the most sustainable race car in the world, featuring 100% recyclable or reusable construction and is built with a minimum of 20% recycled content – double the amount for the GEN3 Evo.

As both teams prepare for Envision Racing’s owners home race in Shanghai this weekend, Jaguar TCS Racing currently leads the Teams’ World Championship with 220 points, while Envision Racing currently sits 6th in the with 99 points. In the Drivers’ standings, Jaguar’s Mitch Evans leads the championship, with teammate António Félix da Costa in sixth. Envision Racing’s Sébastien Buemi and Joel Eriksson currently hold ninth and 13th respectively.
The extension of this partnership ensures both teams enter GEN4 with stability, shared ambition and a proven record of success.
