Few events capture the pace of technological progress quite like VivaTech.
Bringing together some of the world’s brightest minds, most innovative companies, and ambitious entrepreneurs, the event offers a unique opportunity to see not just where technology is today, but where it is heading tomorrow.
For Envision Racing, it was particularly exciting to be part of the experience alongside the Envision Group. Our stand showcased the breadth of innovation being developed across the green technology sector, from cutting-edge wind turbine solutions and advanced energy storage systems to AI-driven technologies designed to accelerate the global transition to a net-zero future (not to mention, the future of electric vehicle technology).
Walking the exhibition floor felt like stepping into the future.
Whether you were shaking hands with a robot or seeing the incredible potential of AI, everywhere you looked, companies were presenting bold ideas aimed at solving some of the world’s biggest challenges, whether in energy, mobility, climate action or industrial efficiency. It was exactly the kind of environment where a company like Envision belongs.
The speaker programme reflected the scale and influence of the event. From Jeff Bezos and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to other leaders representing many of the world’s largest technology companies, the discussions focused on the opportunities and responsibilities that come with shaping the future. Topics ranged from artificial intelligence and energy transition to entrepreneurship and global collaboration, reinforcing the sense that technological innovation will play a defining role in addressing the challenges of the decades ahead.

Beyond the technology itself, one of the most interesting themes throughout the event was the growing importance of partnerships. Many of the world’s leading technology companies are increasingly turning to sport as a platform to showcase innovation, connect products to real-world applications and engage audiences in a meaningful way. Whether through sponsorships, activations or collaborative projects, sport continues to provide a powerful stage for technology companies looking to tell their story.
For Envision Racing, these conversations resonate strongly with our own mission. Formula E was created to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles, and technology sits at the heart of that objective. The championship provides one of the most competitive environments in the world for developing and testing new innovations, pushing teams to find ever-greater efficiencies in performance, energy management and sustainability.

What makes that work particularly exciting is that innovation does not remain on the racetrack. Technologies developed through elite electric racing continue to influence the next generation of road vehicles, helping manufacturers improve efficiency, performance and battery technologies for everyday drivers. As electric mobility continues to evolve, the pace of innovation is only accelerating. This is our contribution to changing the world for the better through technology – and what VivaTech proved is we’re happily one of many organisations with the same mission.
Events like VivaTech serve as a reminder that technology is not simply about creating new products. It is about solving problems, improving lives and building a more sustainable future. Whether through renewable energy, artificial intelligence, advanced mobility or the power of sport to inspire change, the common thread is innovation with purpose.
And if VivaTech showed us anything, it is that the future is arriving faster than ever.
